Tailspin Construction (21st August)

There’s plenty happening at Dreamworld right now. For those not quite in the loop, Tailspin is the park’s ninth big thrill ride due for release in September this year (just in time for the school holiday rush). Made from the same company who did Adventure World’s crazy amazing Abyss Roller-coaster, this “Sky-roller” (as it’s known by manufacturer Gerstlauer) offers a unique advantage over other spinning rides in that every rider has an individual seat with wings that control the roll, meaning you can go as chilled or as extreme you want.

Want a sneak peak? While checking out the refreshed new Wipeout (worth getting a World Pass for alone) I went for a walk and saw part of the ride’s construction rapidly coming together.

Cranes, cherry pickers and workers galore were onsite to bring this behemoth together.
